What these family payment estimates cover
Parental Leave Pay, Family Tax Benefit Part A and Part B, and the Child Care Subsidy are the three Centrelink payments covered here. Income affects all three, and other Services Australia payments are not included.
Parental Leave Pay is a payment while you care for a newborn or recently adopted child, and the parental leave calculator adds any employer-paid leave to show your total. Family Tax Benefit helps with the cost of raising children, and the Family Tax Benefit calculator estimates it from your income and children. The Child Care Subsidy helps with the cost of child care, and the Child Care Subsidy calculator shows your subsidy and out-of-pocket costs.
Every figure is an estimate from published rates, not a Services Australia decision. Services Australia assesses each claim and tells you the result.
